From the lush green pastures to the snow covered mountain tops to the Mojave Desert and all of its majestic beauty to the sunny sandy beaches. California pretty much has it all. California boasts more retirement communities than any state due to the wide variety of climates, active senior community, breadth of recreational activities (including some of the most challenging golf courses in the world) and an abundant supply of California wine (similar to French wine but less sniveling and irritating). The downsides? The highest sales and marginal income tax rate of any state, potential nosebleed real estate prices, the abunance of tofu and 500,000 detectable seismic tremors every year.
