Missouri is bordered by eight states, more than any other state. It is divided north to south by the Missouri River with plains topography to the north and the beautiful Ozark Mountains to the South. St. Louis, Missouri is considered to be the westernmost "eastern" city and Kansas City, Missouri is considered to be the easternmost "western" city. It is a bell weather state politically since the Missouri vote for president has mirrored the nation in all but two years. A Missouri retirement offers a temperate climate where the folks are "down home". Mark Twain and Harry Truman can't both be wrong.
