Here you can pick up regularly scheduled transportation to shopping and excursions to exciting activities throughout the Chicago area. The fitness center has strength-building equipment and a swimming pool where residents can participate in wellness, fitness and water-aerobics programs. Assisted Living at The Moorings Assisted living is a licensed, sheltered-care care option for those who need a little help with daily activities. These attractive apartments have been completely redesigned and are available to the public for the first time! Personal care and housekeeping are available to make life a little easier and a little safer. Our services help residents enjoy more independence in studio and one-bedroom apartments. One of the most important ways that The Moorings of Arlington Heights can ensure peace of mind for residents is by providing health services right on campus. The Moorings Health Center provides rehabilitation and long-term care. It also offers a special memory care center for those with Alzheimer's disease or memory loss, and an assisted living community for residents who need additional support to stay independent. The Health Care Center at The Moorings of Arlington Heights is home to those who need short- or long-term care. For some, it's a short stay while they rehabilitate following a hospitalization. For others, it's a decision to live here as a permanent resident because they need 24-hour assistance, nursing attention or security. All skilled nursing and rehabilitation services are Medicare-approved. The Moorings? rehabilitation program is designed to help each resident achieve the highest level of independence possible.
